Mcculloch Mac 10-10 chainsaw

Hi every one,

You have helped me so much in the past and I have yet another question for you. I have a Mcculloch Mac 10-10 chain saw and I know very little about it, except its really loud. I would like to know the specs on it like displacement, fuel oil ratio, chain specs ect. Also if theres any good sites for old Mcculloch's that would be great. The serial number is 14-49835 I have no idea what the year is? Thank you so much.

Believe that is a 57cc engine on that saw. These are very loud saws as there is not much to the "muffler", and it is pointed directly at your head. Wear hearing protection for sure.

I am looking for a Pull string assembly for a mac 10-10 which attaches the bar to the chain saw can you help me find one anywhere

Go to "chainsaw collectors corner and go to the first listing on the left as it will lead you to a saw library. Scrowl and find McCulloch Motors and go look up your saw. I have about 25 Macs but not a 10-10. I have before and after it.It bacame the 610/650 saw. When they are up to tune they are a cuttin fool of a saw. I would highly recomend you have bucking teeth and if you realy want to see this thing buzz get a full chisel chain. Just understand that it will kick back if you are low in the expereance department.

I have used chainsaws before but saftey is always #1 I will look into a new chain but it seems to cut ok now. Thanks for the reply.
