Jessi: Robins string trimmers are made by Makita power tools , They brought Sacks Dolmar in the early 90's, and the all use robins motors. If you call Makita and give them the robins model # ,they should be able to cross reference to the the Makita brand, and help you get parts for your unit. Good luck.

depends on what year the machine is. Robin NB 16 & NB 23 are same as Stihl FS 60 & FS 80 from the early 1980's.

these were japanese made machines, like Green Machine, Stihl & Husky. All the parts interchange; points, cond., heads, etc. What do you need?

Hate to break the news to you but Stihl and Husky are not Japanese products. Have never been.

Ohhhh. Hate to break the news to you but that's an urban legend. Shibaur made that stuff for both companies under license in Japan. I still have NOS with Jap labels in or on the stock. Both machines were totally Japanese.

I do have the advantage. I was both a Stihl & Robin dealer. Manys the time I reached in Stihl parts & put it in Robin & visa versa. You could use out of whichever stock you had at the time. Of course, this was in the old days - 1985

I had a Stihl Brushcutter that said "Made in Japan" on it.
The truth hurts some people eh? Our local Renault rep who had attended an agricultural show over here was telling me that a farmer was looking over some of their tractors on the Renault stand. The rep said to him "are you interested?" "No way!" came the curt reply " I would touch anything bloody French!"
"What tractors do you run on your farm?" the rep asked "Massey Ferguson!" came the proud reply "What models?" enquired the Renault guy. The farmer was somewhat taken aback when the rep explained to him that most of the tractors he had on his farm were actually made in France!
