Take a metal 55 gal barrel that has a removable lid. $10-15. Get 2 2" shower drains from hrdwr store. Remove grates. About $6 each. Use saber saw to cut 2 holes in top to install drains. Use gasket to mark, and cut just outside line. Holes should be in from the side about 4-5" Get some 1/8 X 1/8" hardware cloth, and fold it so you have a "box" about 6" sq. Cut hole in one side that shower drain will go thru and mount this on the inside of the lid. You will need to mount this before you close up the last side of the box. THIS IS THE SIDE YOU HOOK YOUR VAC TO. If you take 2 pieces of the cloth 6"W X 18"L, you can make "TWO" bends in each, 6" from each end, and all you have to do is invert one and set it on top of the other, and then take small pieces of wire and wire them together. NEED TO MOUNT IT TO THE LID BEFORE YOU WIRE THEM UP. Acording to what kind of hose you have, you may need a couple of 2" nipples to stick out of the top of each drain. If you use a "T" on the side with the wire basket, you can hook two vacs to it and have a LOT of suction. Maybe too much. Get some trash bags that are made for 55 gal drums, change out as they get full. Good luck. UG! PS: I just built one like this to suck some honey bees out of were I do not want them.
