I am interested in the Wagner SPRAY FAST PLUS airless sprayer. I will be using it for various small jobs along with painting my home. I cannot find out, even from Wagners web site, if this model will spray "overhead" while using the suction lines instead of the paint cup. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have an old Wagner 360 I have used for many years, and they are good units if you accept their limitations. they are not as good or fast as the commercial units you can rent, but they do have the advantage of being available for small jobs when you need them, and will handle various types of paints. I wouldn't want to paint a good car with one, though I did paint an old pick up with it once.

They will paint overhead using the suction lines. I cut a notch in the lid for a paint can so I could put the lid on while I was painting in case I knocked it over. The Wagner, as well as practically any other spray gun is not good for filling cracks such as where the siding meets corners, etc. When I painted my 100 year old house I used the Wagner with suction tubes to put the paint on, while using a brush to work it into the cracks. I then came back after it had dried and put on a second coat using only the Wagner.

Do yourself a BIG favor and rent a full size unit at your local rental place. Taylor Etc. They can show you how and those machines paint so well and neat it boggles your mind! Paint can be put on so thick and it will not run. Follow the directions and practice a little first. Those TOY guns are JUNK for the weekend idiot! Do you want to paint you prize car with a Devilbiss paint gun or a rattle can? Same story and you wil LOVE the results! Jeff
