Are the DIY spray on/brush on bedliners such as Duplicolor or Plastikote worth my time and effort? Has anyone tried either of these products? Is the spray on or the brush on better?

I used Herculiner on the interior of my 72 Bronco. Works great. Just hose her out when it gets muddy. I used the Duplicolor spray on stuff on the rollbar and bumpers. It is not anywhere near as tough but if you scrape it off just spray over it. It blends right in.

I replaced the rotten floor mat in a work truck with the brush/roll on bedliner. Just took the seat out and cleaned the cab with the pressure washer, let dry and applied. Looks great and is easy to wash out. Ideal for the irrigation truck that you are in with muddy boots. Ed

My wife used the herculiner on hers and it has worked good . I used the leftovers on tractor steps my truck bumper and a carryall platform for the noskid end of it and it`s hangin in there . Sharp metal corners will dig into it . Alot better than slid ins or mats and would do it again .

Sitting here on-call waiting for the "off shore" network to come back on-line decided to do some web surfing on Herculiner.

I was laughing so hard I woke up SWMBO at 3am. Still ROFLMAO on this one :)

I sure hope he didn't try mineral spirits. That stuff sucks the moisture out of you skin. I got some under my belt one time and the next day I had a big red welt 3 inches in diameter on my hip.

I agree with TGIN they are better than slide ins.But they are alittle bit softer than the profenally sprayed in liners but way cheaper.I would use the brushed in one i dont have 4 or 5 hundred for the sprayed in ones.
