Saturday I was hitting a few yard sales, & found a DR string trimmer with a 5 Horse Briggs Quantum. Also included was 3 rolls of 100 feet of .155 string for it. Guy wanted 30 dollars, I offered 20, but finally gave in & paid him 30. It had sat & stale gas had plugged carb, so I put a kit in it, new plug & new air cleaner, & it runs great now. After repairs, I have about 50 dollars in it. It pays to be up early & find the bargains..... Regards, Davis

I love garage sales and yard sales.I try to find one every week. My latest find was a 3/4" Chicago Pneumatic impact tool for five dollars. Cleaned it up and it will bust most any bolt. Later found two Chicago Pneumatic 1/2 " impact tools for a total of $10.00. Cleaned them, needed a couple of parts, and they run like new. I have about $27.00 invested in all three. I'm happy! Did not really need them, so gave two of them to my son. Just can't pass up a good deal!

I love them yard sales, this year I found a old Lincon buzz box (1957) working with all the paper work and 30' cables for the grand total of $17.00. 3 year ago I found a army generator (1969) in the case. this thing is a 2 cycle homelite chainsaw motor cast in green with a open brass fly-wheel and a big muffler. It's only rated 125 wat. so it won't run power tools, but it will run 4 light bulbs, a TV and a VCR with no problem (around 400w ?). It works great for my deer camp. And runs 1 1/2 hours on a tank of gas, it even came with a hose to drop into a gas tank for longer run time. Grand total of $30.00
