Hi Keith, Sounds like there's metal fatique in the loader arm. Depends on how much stress determines if the arm should be replaced. I would relieve all pressure off the arm, then heat the effected area (plus) to about 1200� then let air cool. I would then clean the area well and install a plate well over the effected area then weld with 7018. If the arm was easy to replace then I would take option now as the above repair may not last. I'm assumming the first repair was done correctly. If the first repair was done correct then it's time to replace the arm this time. I the existing weld cracked on the toe of the weld, that would also indicate that fatique is the problem and the arm needs replaced. Plate the new arm before the gusset is installed. I doubt if the opposite side will last very long if a design problem exists, so maybe it's time to do both sides. Of course then it also could be a designed weak point for abuse of the loader. If that is the case (pun intended) then you will likely break some where else next time the loader is abused, maybe causing extensive damnage to the loader or tractor. This really all guess work on my end as I don't know your loader model nor it's intended design relief when overloaded. T_Bone
