Anyone know how where I would connect the loader controls to an IH 606. I have loader with independant controls. The loader vavle does not seem to have an open center.

Open center hydraulics mean you can blow air through the valve from the "in" side and it will come out the "out" side of the valve with no restriction if the controls are in neutral. This is likely what yu will need first, check it out to be sure yu have the correct valve, if not, some have a plug in the side that can be changed. on too where to tap into the tractor, I am not totally familiar with that machine, but as I recall, most IH tractors have a special end block that stacks onto the auxialliary valves in place of the original, that gives yu pressure oil to the loader valve, and everything else still works normally, then the return from loader control oil will need to get back to the tank, go ino tthe drain plu underneath, ot add a "tee" and go into the fill plug maybe Simplest is to take the valve to your local dealer with yer tracotr info, and ask them what yu need to hook it up, and they can help you with the parts and advice

The JD is a closed center system the IH is not. You can not use a closed center valve on the IH. Some closed center valves can be converted from close to open. Find out about your valve or you will damage the tractor system.

I bought JD 2510 with a loader. The loader had its own directional control vavle and hooked into the tractor at the rear outlets. The loader was live when the tractor lever was in detent. The problem was the tractor kept coming out of detent. I wanted to hook the loader into the tractor DCV. I thought it would be simple, but it was not. In the process I found out how to adjust the detent. It sovled the problem for no money and no re-plumbing. I don't know if this will work for you, but keep your mind open for simple solutions.

Loaders fed through the rear remotes are slow and tie the remote up from other usage. The old 2510 from the 60's-70's was closed center. The hydraulic line is tapped direct near the brake pedals. The return line goes to a optional transmission oil filter casting cover that replaces the origional untapped unit. Just about doubles the loaders speeds and reduces pump(s) cavitation
