I am almost done with my first restoration but I can't get my damn grills put back in because I don't have a tool to put those old bolts back in, to tell you the truth I don't even know how I got them out. Does anybody know where I can get a tool like this or any solutions or substitutes? Thanks!

I remember those years ago, clutch head or figure 8's. They are still readily available at a good hardware store. I got a small set around here someplace. Cant even remember what I had them for.Times changed, maybe you can get one with a drive for a 1/4" or 3/8" drive ratchet. Sears oughtta have them.

If you can't find one you can always take a regular screwdriver and regrind the end to fit pretty close.

Those screws are Clutch head, I've heard Sears has the screwdriver, also heard some auto parts stores can get them, may want to get a bit in quarter inch drive, or maybe three/eigths drive. Like Phillips, they came in 3-4 different sizes, be sure to get the one you need. Chevy also used them in the early 50s. John in Nebraska

My dad's 1941 Chvey 1/2 ton has them all over the damn place. I have also heard them called butterfly screws. Proto tools had them years ago and as stated come in several sizes. Jeff
