Bought a Karcher pressure washer, model 2400 last year, 2400 psi. About the same price as others in the pressure range. Worked great last year. When I started it up this year the Trigger gun won't shut off. Some small part broke in a valve where hose hooks up. Karcher wants to sell me a new trigger gun for $60+ as service centers have no parts breakdown on it. Guy at one service center said mine was the second call that day on the same problem. Anyone else have a problem with one of these or fixed the problem? The trigger gun looks about the same as on some other brands.

Had the same problem with mine. I took apart the valve and cleaned up the valve spool, it had some corrosion and water deposits on it, put back together and it works fine now. I will probably have to do it again in the future.

I replaced mine with a universaal unit from Home Depot for a lot less. Works as good as the original. Hope that helps.
