As I recall, Joy Equipment Company was sold to Cooper Industries 20-some years ago. Some time later Cooper bought Gardner-Denver, and I believe that the Joy and G-D lines were "rationalized".

More recently, Cooper divested Gardner-Denver -- and I think G-D ended up with some of the old Joy lines.

It might be productive to check with Gardner-Denver to see if they can either provide the parts you need or can at least point you in the right direction.

Good luck.

John

Find a Sullair dealer, They are nearly identical machines. Sullair is sold to Commercial users , and Joy was sold to Heavy Industry, ie Mining & Construction Joy division has been closed for years, but parts should not be a problem.

Joy airends were used in Sullivan compressors, not Sullairs. Sullivans are easily recognized by their orange cabinets with the diagonal white reflective lines on them. Anyhow, parts should be available from any reputable compressor shop. Is it a screw or a vane type?
