I have a Bostich framing nailer. I am looking for a second gun but don't want to have to worry about different type of nails. What is another gun that uses the bostich clip head nails? I heard that Craftsman does? Thank you.
Tom.

I've got a campbell housfeld that uses 28 degree clipped head nails. I've only put a few thousand nails through it on one room addition and two storage sheds.

I replaced it with a full head nailer since the clipped head nails are supposedly going the way of the dodo. I understand that California building code won't allow clipped heads any more. I live in Arizona, and we eventuall do what the neighbors do.

Anyhow, clipped head nails are about twice as expensive as full round head nails here, so I paid for the new gun in no time.

If you still want to get another clipped head nailer, I'll sell you this one cheap. make me an offer, it cost me $199 new a few years back.

let me know at [email protected]

I can e-mail you pictures if you like.

sparkplug: Bostitch clip head nailer uses a 28 degee cliped head nail. Why don't you buy another Bostitch tool? You will have better quality and proberly at a lower price. BTW Bostitch is converting their cliped head nails to off set full head round nails that will work in their clip head guns. Good luck
