hot tub leaks

Does anyone do there own leak repair?If so what type patch material do you use and where do you get it?Is there a thing such as stop leak that can be put in water and when it leaks and contacts air it will harden and stop the leak.

When I was a kid I heard tell of people stopping leaks in radiators by putting a little horse manure in the radiator. The fiberous material tended to plug leaks.

I suppose you could give that a try. (grin).

Ya might check lowes or any other hdwre. They make repair kits for acrylic and fiber glass. Never used any of it but I have heard it works OK, even comes with a color matching deal when you mix it.
