lifts unlimited scam?

I have a friend who ordered a lift from this company and after several monthes had not recieved it. They kept his deposit after he cancelled his order monthes after delievery was promised and not recieved. I called them at 18007629651 and the same 1 or 2 people always answer claimed they would ship monday with 25% credit card deposit. I found 3 different adresses in Nixa and springfield mo but none look real. 610-ae battlefield suite 133 spingfield mo. 65807. Several previous phone numbers have been disconnected.Anyone ever done business with this co.Lifts unlimited? Anyone else think it is scam? Thanks for any input.

In addition to disputing the credit card charge, suggest contacting the Better Business Bureau in Springfield, MO. It covers all of SW Mo, including the Monett area. They may be able to provide insights about whether there are other complaints out there and the business's viability. Another option is to contact the Missouri Attorney General's Office, Consumer Division.

If he paid by credit card, dispute the charge, for merchandise not received.

I am with Walt.
Never buy anything over the web from a company that does not accept a credit card. For it gives you nothing to fight with.

He needs to take it up with his credit card company.
