I'm out here in the hinterlands... where hardwood is scarce and EXPENSIVE!!! I need a few thousand board feet of hard maple... preferably kiln dried. At one time, I had price listings from a couple of saw mills in Wisconsin, but I've managed to lose them. Any help in locating a source for quality lumber (hopefully at reasonable prices) would be GREATLY appreciated! (I'd prefer to find mills located in Wisconsin, Minnesota Michigan or Illinois... would reduce the distance I'd have to haul)

It just so happens my next door neighbor sells just exactly what you are looking for!! Call 715-339-3767 and ask for Greg; tell him John sent you, it may help the price.

Thanks for the tip John, I'll give Greg a call! I've tried searching the 'net as others have suggested but, so far, I've just turned up a lot of useless information... I definitely appreciate your help!!!!

With al the hardwood forests in SE MN, there should be some mills to help you. Maybe check with some major town's business bureau?
