Homelite DM50 parts

I need a set of crank bearings and piston rings for my DM50 cut off saw, the rings are the thin ones used on some models. Also I need a flywheel puller for the saw to remove the flywheel with. My compression is at about 5LBS and the bearings on the flywheel side sound like metal grinding against metal when the saw is cranked so I think I need soem new parts, I DO NOT want to go out and spen big bucks on a new cut off saw that will probably not last as long as this one has.

I can't help you for parts but take your main bearings out and seals and go to your nearest bearing supplier. Thats what I do and its cheaper. Being that its a cutoff saw you'll want to check over the rod bearings good, dust may have eaten them up too.
