Does anyone have any use on an Idealarc 300 ac/dc lincoln welder? Are they any good it will hook up 220 and 3 phase. expected cost? Still useful?

I have an Idealarc Tig 300. It was made in 1984. It is single phase and multiple voltage (208, 240,460). It's a rugged and well made machine, but it is heavy. I made a wheeled carriage for it and the argon bottle. I paid $700 for it two years ago and I have no complaints.

I have one, it is an excellent machine. I have never seen one that was 3 phase. The larger Idealarcs were 3 phase, though. The plate with the model and serial numbers should also indicate if it is single phase. You can download the owner's manual for the current Idealarc from the Lincoln site.

I think these were made for both single and three-phase. Not sure if can be reconnected to switch from one to the other. Mine was new in 1953. Still performs superbly. Any price under $500.00 is a bargain for one in good condition.

Any good, IMHO one of the best welders Lincoln ever made. 220 yes, 3 ph (I dont think so but dont know for sure).
