good welding oxy acetylene sets

Hi all I am seeing the victor compatible and harris compatible cheapo welding sets some are big sets 17 pcs the old ones I have are leaking I think they are victor ones can they be rebuilt are the cheap ones worth getting any good very cheap when compared to any of the brand names I would only use them a few times a year but handy to have when needed.

Hi rod,

Spend the money and get a Victor 100 mixing chamber. You need a cutting head, No 3 size cutting tip, and a 00 size brazing tip, 3/16" hose 25ft, single stage regulators, stiker, No4 colored face shield, tip cleaners, and cylinders. I suggest 100cft Acetylene and a 200cft Oxygen cylinders.

Thats it for general shop use. Anything more is a waste of money as you'll never use it.
