I recently bought I Koyker 565 loader at a farm auction. It was mounted on an International Harvester tractor. The brackets came with it, but they don't appear to be the correct ones for my tractor (Case 1270). I have checked with the company and the new brackets are pretty expensive. I was wondering if there was any way to modify those brackets so they would work properly. Also, if anyone has the ones I need, I might be interested if the price was right. Somewhere out there is someone that bought this type of loder that came with the brackets I need and they can't use. A swap of some kind would be great if there's no way for me to use the ones from the IH. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I had the same thing when looking for a loader for my jd3020. i looked at bush hog and jd for $4000.
Then i found a koyker used for $2300 still had all the paint on the bucket with mounts for a new style jd. The frame mounts would not line up so i took it to my local welding shop and they added two feet to the length and welded to the original quick mounts. drilled and mounted both sides for $200. works great and is much more sturdy than the original.
I checked for koyker mounts and i think they were $700 per side.
good luck.

I just put a Koyker on my green tractor...alone....phew....but now that the installation is over, I love it.....I move big round bales with it.

Your best and safest bet would be to swap them for the correct ones.

I went through that several years ago with a DuAl 3100. I needed Deere 4020 brackets, and had IH 1206, etc., brackets. It took a while, and running several ads in farm "want ads", but someone replied, and swapped with me. Sure was a lot easier than trying to butcher something to fit.
