I picked up an old champion sparkplug cleaner/tester at a flea mkt. It has some wires disconnected from it. I would like some information on this unit if any old tool buffets/mechanics have one of these help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave

As for the wires on your cleaner tester, the little sand blaster was run by air, from the shop air line, but the tester, where you screwed in the spark plug and connected a plug wire lead, was run from 110Volts, that way you could see if the plug would fire when air pressure was blown against the electrode, simulating engine compression, amazing number of plugs wouldn't!

I've used what I think you're talking about. The cleaners were really little sandblasters that did an EXCELLENT job of CLEANING spark plugs.....but tended to leave sand particles lodged between the insulator and shell and also between the insulator and center electrode. After cleaning, tap the end of the plug on a workbench and you'll likely find a little pile of sand! I never liked the idea of sand (even a little) going into an engine I cared about.
