I want to build a ice cream vending truck for the local fairs,etc from an old walk in van I have. Any ideas on refrigeration? How do coldplates work? Could it be feasible to narrow a household chest freezer? What would be the best insulation for a fabricated box? IDEAS NEEDED

All the ice cream street vendors around here use a deep freezer stuck in the back of the van with a window cut in the side. They plug it in at home and freeze it up and then drive around all afternoon selling it to the kids. Never saw any melted cream running out the back. You might supplement it with dry ice.
Just be sure to get a decent melody to go along with it. I think I heard everything from GREEN SLEEVES to TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR.
