I am interested in building a woodsplitter to run off the the back of my 235m/f.Is there anyone who has experience making one, ideas, plans etc. It's for upto 24 inch wood.I was looking at some that splits both out on the cylinder and return.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A couple of things to consider: Make sure your hydraulic pump is going to run it fast enough and you have no constrictions in your hydraulic delivery system that will slow it down else you'll end up spending more money once you think you are done, beefing that part up. Also, make sure you have a spool valve with an automatic release when the cylinder is at the end of a cycle so that as you go to get your next piece of wood, the cylinder is working back into place and then automatically stops retracting. Lastly, the kind that work vertically or horizontally are worth the extra effort for different size wood and different spaces. Any way you cut it, these are great machines but the above is from my own experience after putting one together.
