I am looking for a web site" some what like this "forum" of people who have had truck problems or strange "situations" and the repair that fixed it.
Mine is burning rotor buttons out at the rate of two{2} per week, so bad i can't trust it to travel outside the area of available daylight time to walk home:)
Thanks

Phil,

That's an easy one. Clean your distributor vent. It is getting hot in there.

It is located at the bottom towards the firewall side of the dist. A little screen-like opening about 3/8" in diameter.

Correct cap? Correct rotor? If you not changing the rotor, is the contact spring broken off? Can't be too many things.
