Anyone got any expereience with this outfit? Product sounds good. Called them and cost $99/gal. Gal. is to cover 250 sq ft. I figure at that coverage I will need 13 gallons. That is approx. $1200 to cover my shop floor.

Pictures are pretty but none show what it looks like after 1-2 yrs. of use.
Thanks

We have gray painted floors in our shop at work.. they were sandblasted before the coating was applied... but they have held up good this will be the 9th year for the surface and they ar good.. a few small places.. but not where they coating lifted.. but the concrete was chipped.. I have seen shop that went back and coated over another coating.. and it didn't last a few months... (that was in a motorcycle shop.) Sorry I don't know the name of the product that was used in our shops...

I went to a home last year to pick up an industrial sewing machine (that I didn't need).
The house was located in an upscale area and had a three car garage with another Greyhound size bay for the motorhome. The main floor was a very low gloss, black and white speckled tone, with a rubbery like, very tiny pebble finish. The motor home floor had only the first coat of grey primer. I was told the cost was about $90 gallon. Don't know how many gallons was needed.
I may be able to get the product name if you're interested.

Is stuff got gold in it? Expensive. How about the 2part epoxy/paint for garages. Lot cheaper.

Yup! That's exactly what I was thinking also. On the phone they said they are competive on pricing with others. Today I did some more research and holy sheite! These boys are way spendy.

Called them back and the claim is "one step application" is the market differentiator. For that price this dumb ol' piney woods boy is seeking alternatives.

Like I said. I have seen the 2part epoxy in Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Claims hot tires will not cause lifting, oil/gas resistant.

We researched these coatings a few years back and the one coat products are not the way to go. We did an 800 sq. foot "clean room" off of our restoration shop for re-assembly of projects and used a three step paint from Dulux. The key is surface prep. We trowel finished the floor, etched it w/muratic acid, applied the color(med. grey)and then applied two coats of the clear high gloss sealer. We have drug jack stands over it, dropped tools on it, moved cars with jacks and dollies, rolled car bodies on rotisseries over it and generally treated it like a non-painted floor. If we swept and mopped it today it would look almost new! It ran about $1.35 a sq. ft. plus our labor. Any quality industrial paint center can assist you with it. One neat note: The system we used is the same as used at the headquarters of Dale Earnhardt Enterprises; the NASCAR people; only they did 50000 sq. ft!
