I think Snap-On welders are made by Century but I know nothing about that model. Any 120v machine is going to be limited to 1/4" at the very most and that is with a good bevel and alot of practice. You might try Snap-On's website if it is a fairly new welder.

My buddy borrowed a snap on welder from a guy at his work last summer. Not sure of the model, but it was a 110v mig machine. An MW120 I'll assume is 120 amp machine, so depending on wire I would guess it wouldn't be much more than 3/16" maybe 1/4" in a single pass. My buddy said the guy paid 1300 bucks for the thing. You could get a larger miller or lincoln for the same money, but then it wouldn't be red and say Snap On on the side ;) Maybe you could track down the local snap on truck and talk to the driver and see if he can get any info for you. All else fails you could ask the seller. If you can get it for a good price, it would probably serve you well.
