I just finished reading the discusion on Soon to be a mechanic. I would like to email this to a couple of recent college graduates that I know. This stuff is so true, not only for mechanics but for anyone starting out. Is it possible just to email this topic alone. If so, how?

Thanks
Bob

Check "FILE", at the top left corner of the screen, see if you can send the link or the page there.

Go to the thread, using the (+) option to get the whole thing.

Then go to the address bar of your browser and copy the whole address. (Highlight it and use CTRL-C)

Then open a new email message, and paste the URL of the thread in the message (CTRL-V)

Then all the email recipent(s) have to do is click on the link and it'll take 'em right to it.

Yup, that'll work.
The other way I've emailed a discussion and responses is to go to the top of the page and click on EXPAND, hilight the responses, right click, copy, then open your email program and select New Message then in the message body area right click again and hit Paste. This way is a little clunky and the display is hard to read sometimes but it works.
If you wnat to see how your email turned out, use the CC address line and email it to yourself.

Hi RZ;
I've been on this board for five years and I've never even seen the "Expand" option. I like it! Thanks for expanding my knowledge!
