The mainstream "Craftsman" brand ratchets, flat wrenches, sockets and drive accessories are made by Danaher.

Danaher makes a similar quality range under their Allen brand.

Danaher also makes different specification tools under their MATCO, K-D and Armstrong brands.

While Danaher makes the bulk of the hand tools marked "Craftsman", this brand is on a wide variety of products from a wide range of suppliers.

Thus, Danaher is, by far the largest supplier of Craftsman mechanics handtools, but, please note that the list of exceptions is very long.

i have a 1954 craftsman power saw, with metal case, and all the manuals & parts that came with it when it was purchased. it even has extra 6 1/2 " blades with it. (also in origional package ) i'm having trouble finding anyone that can tell me it's value. i bought it at a yard sale. i'd love a chance to put my co-workers in place for always putting me down for looking for tools for sale at yard sales. help ??
