Hey Guys, this grinder had a light over each wheel that stopped working some time ago. I made the mistake of disconnecting all the wiring to remove these lights thinking it would be straightforward to reconnect. It's not, at least not for me. There are 2 red wires and 2 white wires going into the motor housing. There is a capacitor with a red wire and a black wire. The power in has a black wire and a white wire going into the switch with a green to ground. Any ideas?TIA.

Mine has a different model number, but going by your colors available I would do this: Green to ground on the plug should connect to the grinder frame. White is always neutral, all whites should connect together. Colors are hot; I would connect black on cord to black on capacitor. Red on capacitor to two reds on motor. That would be as much as I can see on mine.

Try putting the model number in sears parts web, they may have a diagram there.

Thanks Mac, tried Sears web before bothering you guys. Now, if anyone has a Craftsman Bench Grinder model 319.19062 and would like to take off the baseplate (4 screws) and relay what it looks like under there, that would be great too!

I made the same mistake opening a brand new bench grinder model 319.211260 that failed to work. I beleive that the original failure was the defective 10 ufds capacitor. It is needed to start the motor and it probably failed when still new, thereby not starting properly. The system needs the light bulb to work efficiently, since its load regulates the speed by limiting it.
Capacitor Red to red FROM motor. Capacitor Black to Blue FROM motor,Al Blacks together, White FROM
motor to white of lamp. Green from line to ground, Black from line to switch, White from Line to switch.

let me know
