I was looking at a Echo CS-300 and a CS-340 trimming saws. Are they a good saw and is the CS-340 worth the extra money? It will probally get moderate to heavy use. All feed back welcome. Thanks

Go with the CS-340 if you expect to put alot of hours on the saw. The CS-340 has slightly more displacement & an upgraded electronic ignition system that gives it more cutting power than the CS-300.

The Echo 300 series climbing/trimming saws have a good reputation, light weight, good balance, and an excellent value for the money.

I have an Echo CS-3000 and like it very much. I have had it about two years and wished I had bought it much sooner.
