Have any of you had any luck with the do it yourself paint on bedliner material? Just wanted to find out before I tried it.

I too am looking at bed liners and have narrowed it down to spray on. I'm leaning toward Line-X I haven't heard anything bad about them.

I have a lineX and would probably go with rhino or Toff next time. I got the lineX because it LOOKED the best of all. I still think that it does, but I have several friends with the other two mentioned and theirs is MUCH more durable. My line X might not have been installed very well, I just know that it has chipped/torn in several places.

Todd, I asked that question a year or two ago. The consensus was that the do-it-yourself liner was not the way to go. If I remember right, several people recommended the Rhino spray-on liner that is done by professionals at a shop.

If you want it to last, I would go with the pro's on Rhino. That stuff is tough.

Only problem with Rhino is that it will bleach to a grayish color if you get a black one sprayed. Actually, all their colors do this too. I had a Speedliner sprayed in mine 3 years ago and it looks the same as new as far as shine and color. Can't hurt it much as it has Kevlar strands mixed in when they apply it. Superior over Rhino in all respects. Later <'o'>
