Farmer Tom.
If you want to do it for short money find an old oil burner. Leave the pump and motor in the burner frame and discard the rest, nozzle line,fan,transformer,etc.. Plug the high pressure line to the nozzle and use the return line out. The lines are marked on the pump. If the unit was running with only one line (supply) from the tank you can still change over to two line by installing a small plug inside the return port. Call your local oil man I'll bet he has a bunch of these plugs rolling around in his tool box. A bonus is that Sunstrand pumps have a screen inside the end cover that will keep the pump and oil clean. Webster pumps have a trash grinder inside but no screen, supposed to grind up the gunk and allow it to be burned. HTH

Tom, if salvage is available to you, what you're talking about is a day tank for an engine driven emergency power generator. Has motor , level control, usually about 20-30 gallon capacity.Basically ,what the Doc ordered.Mguy.
