Hello All Now This Question Does Pertain To Some Work That I Am Doing On A Tractor. Can Anyone Tell Me The Thickness ( In Thousands Of An Inch )
Of # 20 Gage Sheet Metal? Thank You For Your Help.

Thank You For The Answer. More Specifically What This Is I Need To Obtain And Install Some Flat Washers And The Book Says They Need To Be #20 In Thickness. Thanks Again You Have Helped Me More Than You Can Imagine Many Times.

20ga:

Steel=.0359

Brass & AL= .032

Carbon Galvanized= .0425 to .0382, average .0396

CU= .035

SS= .0375 but varries from .036 to .040

I work in a large Industrial Alunimum plant, we use thousants per gauge when we manufactur and sell our product.--20ga=.020
