Dearborn equipment was made by many people including Arps, Pittsburg and Danuser under contract to Ford. Ford dropped the Dearborn name in the Fifties and started selling the same equipment with the Ford name on it. I think NH stills scoops today but I think it may only be the reversible one that is smaller.

I bought a 1948 Montgomery-Ward's Farm supply catalog at a flea market last weekend. It has a scoop similar to the Dearborn scoop listed. Price to fit Ford or Ferguson was 44 dollars. Lots of interesting reading in that catalog, well worth 2 dollars.

By 1967, that 10 cu' reversible scoop was catalog priced at $90. Before Quality Fleet & Farm folded a year or so ago, a scoop was selling for $310. Probably not the quality of the MW.

Davis, $44.00 in 1948 was equal to about $1000.00 now. Dearborn was sold at Ford dealerships. alvinnms

Would someone please build that scoop again. The follow ups are crappy things that barely work.
