I just struggled with the tool box dilemma. Had some old, non ball slide Craftsman in the barn that were rusting out.

Looked at Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, Harbor Freight. Ruled out Mac and Snap On because of price.

Ended up at Lowes. For $450 got a bottom cabinet and a top. They are mix and match combinations and ball slides to boot. Was out in Iowa over Thanksgiving and saw the identical boxes at Farm and Fleet. They are made by Waterloo, which makes Sears boxes, I believe. For the bucks they are very nice boxes. (The Kobalt boxes).

I have no affiliation with Lowes, but spent quite a few hours looking before parting with some of my precious $$$.

For what its worth.

JU

I bought the series of boxes. The top chest, middle riser and the roll cab. They go for $179-$200 and are brown. Not bad price for the boxes. The sheet metal is a little light weight but for the average user they're not bad. If you load all the drawers up I think the roll cab wheels might not hold it all.
