I've been looking at some hub and spindle kits from Northern Tools. When they say 4" center to center lug size, how is this measured? Is it center to center going accross the center or is it center to center going around the edge? Hope this makes sense. I've got some Ford 4 lug rims I'd like to use, but not quite sure how to measure them. Thanks in advance.

If you're measuring the holes in the wheel measure from one hole to the opposite one. measure from the inside of one to the outside of the other, that will give the center diameter. Like was said 5 holes are harder to measure.

The 4" is BCD (bolt circle diameter). The diameter
of the circle, so on a four hole circle it is the
distance from the center of one hole to the center
of the hole across from it. Same applys to a six
hole circle. On a circle with five holes it is
harder to determine.
