Would like to build a set of drive on car ramps that support both front and rear wheels of a large vehicle (Chevy suburban). Would like to get the wheels about one and a half to two feet off the ground for routine maintenance. I can weld, but unsure of the structural integrity design. Sure don't want anything falling on top of me!! Anyone know where I can get some plans?????

Just a thought, what if you used a frame from an old car or equipment trailer. I had thought about leaving the center open on my fifth wheel equpment trailer just for that reason.

I sure dont have any plans off hand. Time has caught up with me, but I had the room and I wanted to build one of those tilting ramps years ago, set about 30" off the ground. Drive the whole veh up and it tilts when you go off center. Has a front stop where it will stop when level. Then put the pipe down in back to keep it there. Seen those on car lots and they look OK to me. Draw back is ya got to be careful when driving off the ramp. Very slowly
