Is there such a thing as a chainsaw junkyard? I need a plastic part for an old Jonsered 520. MY local guy had some old parts saws but not a 520. Does anyone know of any business that specializes in this?

i have an intertec chain saw service manual
for various brand names. in the back there is "obsolete parts buyer guide" listing.

1.) buterler's repair rt. 2 box 91 ashdown, ar 71822 (501) 542-7746

2.) cloonan's air cooled engines rd # 2, hall road oswego, ny 13126 (3150 343-3104

3.) guiho saw sales 950 riverside dr. timmins, ont., can p4n3w3 (705) 264-4119

above three are listed as jonsered parts suppliers.

If your stuck, parts from a husqvarna might work. I've used parts from husky 263's & 266'S to fix my 630 Jonsered. I even put a used gas tank from a husky something or other on my 630 this spring. Good Luck.
