What kind of air fittings can I get that do not leak? I have Harbor Freight fitting. The ones with two bands on them, on all my air tools and hoses. It seems like they have a real short life till they start leaking. Do the other stiles hold up better or is it just the cheep HF brand that are the leakers. What brands will last? Can I get by with just up grading the FM fitting or should I replace everything? Or do they all leak?
Thank you, Fred P.....

i use Milton type M couplers, some are still in use after 30 years of opperation. You get what you pay for, you pay more now or pay for it later in this case keep replacing.

We used to use the Harbor Freight and cambell haulfeld fittings and they all leak, finally changed all over to Milton, no more leaks since then. Been about 6 years ago.

And you can buy couplers that will accept at least two different size nipples: the very short 1/16th and the 3/16 long. They cost a dollar or two more but save a lot of trouble.
They may have a red color band.
