I would like to know if anyone could identify the following wrenches I have found in an old tool box someone threw out. #1--Ford script,1inch open end on one end and 5/8 box on the other end. It has a offset curve about 2inches. total length 9 1/2 inches.

#2 Ford script, USA-M-40-17017 1inch open end taperd? and 3/4 6 point box. Total length 9 1/2" curved.

#3 Ford script # T5893 on other side.15/16 open end and 5/8 socket head.Total length 10 1/2 inches.

#4 Ford script USA on one side and M on other side. 1/2 " & 7/16 open end with a 45 * at the 7/16 end. I have 2 others but are unable to discribe yet. THANK YOU all very much. Ron S.

I always thought that the combination plow wrench/gas gauge was the "brass ring," so to speak, of Ford N-tools. Always kept my eye out for one at antique stores, etc. Recently one of those wrenches went for $76 at auction, and it had been wire-brushed.

I almost felt bad about not bidding on it, until my brother-in-law called me from an antique store with a question- he had "two of those wrenches you told me about" in his hand, should he buy them? Perfect condition, no rust at all, picked up both for $18.

Now he says I have to wait 'till Christmas to see 'em.
