I have a pioneer p26 chainsaw that runs fine for 5-10 minutes from cold then the fuel tank starts to pressurize. It is pressurizing from the fuel pick up pipe in the tank as air is fizzing out the filter on the end of the pipe. I have stripped the Walbro carb and checked the gaskets and diaphram. These all seem to be ok.Thanks for any help or ideas you can give. Munch

I have an old yellow Pioneer from the 60-70's. It too runs fine for 10min. or so. Then it seems to load up like it is getting too much fuel???
Any ideas???

Most gas caps have a vent to stop that problem, I'd say you need to clean/check the cap and or replace it

Take fuel tank, oil tank, air shrouds, bar and chain off the engine. There will be sawdust packed everywhere preventing airflow through cooling fins.Clean and reassemble. This should fix it. MT POCKETS
