Hi, I am new here to this forum. I usually hang out in the john deere forum. Can anyone tell me where I can look for parts for a model 62 Atlas drill press. I bought one yesterday and already broke the return spring back knob. Thanks for any help. Have a great day! and Happy Thanksgiving!

Atlas is still out there but is now part of Clausing Industrial. You can still get parts. Go to <>Link

Hey if you find something that works, let me know.. My Atlas has the same problem and I cured it with a bungee cord. It is a good drill press other than that.

If all else fails, maybe a spring from a steel measuring tape.

Good Luck

The metal turning lathe sold by Sears years ago was an Atlas. Might still be a source of parts, depending on age.
