This post pertains to more on Alberta Mike's post about auto darkening welding helmets.
Just thinking about the fact that they're using solar cells to keep the batteries charged or to power the auto darkener...and why not put more solar cells on it to power a small fan or one of those new IC chip refrigeration units and weld with a cool head? Sounds reasonable to me...theres a lot of brightness there to keep one going. How bout some of you go-getters working out the details on it...or adding your .02 cents. We might as well step out on the cutting edge, no one else is. Todays date is Nov. 25th...will it be in production in six months? Do I get to name it...being as I suggested it? Thoughts... Fred OH

PS Those guys that live in the real hot climates and weld would be a real plus to the company they work for...you couldn't get them to stop welding cause when they quit the air conditioner would quit. Fred OH
