I have a 40# sand blaster pot from Harbor Frieght that seems to do the job except for the noozle shut off valve. I have replaced several of these due to sand damage to the valve. After about 3 hours of use, a hole opens in the body of the valve. Does anyne make a better blaster gun or noozle that could be adapted to the Harbor Freight Sand Blaster?

I recently bought a 100 Lb sandblaster that came with a shut-off valve that you had to hold with 2 hands and would shut off if you dropped it. I used it about 1 hr and then made my own. I used a 1/4" ball valve the type with a lever and the rest from an old nozzle holder. I know it is not OSHA approved but I am the only one using it. It is quite light and only takes one hand to use. The best part is that you can reach into tight areas with it. I do most large brush chippers. The shutoffs last about 6-8hrs and then replace them at about $4-5. I keep an extra one made up as they usually go doing a sandblast job. Hope this helps you. I could e-mail a sketch of mine.
