I am looking for the fan[impeller] that is on a lawn vacuum. Dose any one know where I could find one would like to try making my own leaf vacuum.

Tiny,

I have a Cyclone Rake made by Woodland Power Products... I had to replace my impeller and they do sell them... they are on the net and shouldn't be hard to find... their impellers are made of a very high strength, wear resistant plastic... mine lasted 6 years before I got a rock in it and damaged it badly... they replaced mine for free but I'm sure they would sell you one..

I'd be extremely careful building one and use heavy enough material... there was some discussion of this very thing on the Hobart Welding forums... you might look there

Interesting reading! on that HOBART site. I built My home-made vac about 5 yrs ago. Works fairly well, but Mine's setup more like a TRAC-VAC than an Agri-Fab. The engine & blower semi-mount to the back of My Cub Cadet and has a pivoting caster wheel to support the back of it. Standard car hitches normally to the back of it. I made the box for the top of the cart from sheet steel & expanded metal. The engine drives the blower impeller with a V-belt so I can start/stop the blower without killing the engine. Works really well on My 2+ acres with 70-80 trees, mostly Maples. Next project is a "Bio-Mass Furnace" for My shop to burn ALL the clippings & leaves for heat in the winter instead of just burning them in the Great Outdoors! I pulled a 32" Parker sweeper around for Years, It cleaned the ground better but was a TON more work! I get +/- 500 lbs of stuff in My cart that measures 32" wide, X 48" long X 36" high. It blows & packs into a CUBE inside!
