i have a Bostitch framing nail gun, it quit yesterday [ would not presurize, air leaking out the top] i removed the top section and took out the inside parts. i purchased a o-ring rebuild kit to day. now the problem. after taking out the parts i can see a large rubber seal or o-ring, down in bottom of the housing, looks thicker than regular o-ring. the kit i bought does not have this in it. i need it because it is chewed all up in little pieces. Please some one tell me how to get this part, or where to go for info. thanks to all who can help. [it's a model N80]

I have the N80 also, about 15 years old. I loaned it twice and twice I had to rebuid the seals, top and handle. Go to bostitch.com, you can enter your nailer and get a parts list.
If your N80 is old like mine, email bostitch and they will give you the number to the only guy servicing old nailers. He has thousands old new, old parts. I has his number but can't find it today. You can call him and tell him what nailer you have, he is very good and knows Bostitch nailers.
Bostitch are great nailers.
But I don't loan my nailer out anymore.....

YEAH, THESE PEOPLE MAKE TRIGGER KITS, UPPER PISTON KITS,SEPARATE AND FULL REBUILDS HOWEVER IF YOU TAKE IT APART DO IT ALL.
