Well, it really is a tool to communicate with all the great people on these sites. It's my computer and it works great except when on the web. I'm only getting 2/3 of the screen, vertically. The bottom third has the screen saver showing, and if I move the web screen with the top bar all is well underneath. There is no distortion, the web screen just stops about 3" from the bottom on a 17" moniter. Everything else works OK. If you have any ideas, or can direct me to a computer help site, I would appreciate it.
I'm using Internet Explorer. I'm also having trouble accessing Yahoo Email. Do I have a virus?

Did you just try to Max, the web screen? Disable the screen saver, bring up the web page and use curser to widen and lengthen the page. If all is OK then, enable the screen saver once again.

Just place the mouse pointer right on the lower edge of the "web screen" until the pointer changes from a single arrow to an up, down arrow. Then press and hold the left mouse button and drag the bottom edge of the "web screen" all the way down. I hope this solves your problem. Hate it when your tool doesn't work.

Vern-Mi Well, how dumb can I be? (Don't answer that!) You got it exactly right. I never thought to pull the screen down, assumed it was a big problem or a virus. It just turned up that way a few days ago. Thanks to all for the help... Now if someone can tell me what I need to do in Windows XP when I click on the 'Email' word in a post and a box appears with "can't perform operation because default email client not properly installed". I thought only lawyers had clients. These problems seemed to have started after I removed 113 cookies using the free download suggested on one of the YTMag sites.

Slowpoke, let's try this for your email problem: Go to the lower left hand corner of your screen. Click on START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, and then INTERNET OPTIONS. Once the INTERNET PROPERTIES window appears click on the PROGRAMS tab. Then go down to the line with E-mail at the left side of it and set the email software which you are using and click on APPLY in the lower right of that screen. In my case I use Outlook Express. See if that works. Good luck.

Vern-MI... this is not working as planned. I used to share Compuserve dail-up with my kid who lives 6 miles away. Only one of us could be on line at a time. Compuserve email was fast and easy to use, even on YTMag email.
Then she changed to SBC dsl and I can share it with dial-up at any time. It uses Yahoo email which is not on the internet properties/program window and I can't type it in. When I select any of the three email programs offered and try to reply to YTMag email address, I'm told I need to set up an account. But the Yahoo service works ok when I receive emails and reply to them. Do I now have to set up another account just to reply to posts? And do I have to pay for it?
By the way, Yahoo email is the pits to use.

Wow I was finally able to help someone. Great. I'll bet the product you downloaded is referred to as Adaware. I'll have to think about the email problem.

Go to start-settings-control panel-display and displayproperties and check your screen size. Mine is set at 800x600 and works fine.
