went to put some gas into the jubilee tis morning,
i haven't ran it for about two weeks, bingo a big mouse nest on top of the radiator w/mouse sticking it's headout.. i don't know what it is about mice and tractors but they sure do love to make them their HOME..earlier this year they built one in the top of the air filter that ended up in the oil bath, nice mess , thankful that i checked the oil for a change... maybe its the seed that gets into everything when i'm bush hogin

I have a '63 REO 10 wheel truck with a Haines bulk body. Use it for Spuds and corn. Started real poorly one spring to haul seed potatoes after a long winter. I found a still twitching dead mouse in his nest built on the top of the distributer. He had chewed through the insulation and must have taken the full spark for a few of the cylinders. I would have seen him or scared him off if I had checked the oil but the old girl has never lost a drop.

The little field mice can't seem to jump high enough to get on my JD A, but the %$#^%$# yellow jackets sure make up for it!

I found one a few years back, under the Carb, that the little varmint had made 100% from used cigarette filters! It smelled exactly like an old cigarette!
