Recently I was cleaning up around the farm lately and found several old wrenches with 3 indented dots in a row on each (sorta like a trademark). Can anyone let me know who the manufacturer was and what was the significance of the indented dots? Just for curiosity sake? Thanks.

I originally thought that these marks were some sort of personal markings but they are too neat and consistent to be done manually.

On old tools, of which I have over a 100, many early shops had drill press and evening a lathe, so neatly done marks would not be unusual, Starting in the 20s-30s the better tool manufacturers started putting on their logo, earlier tools often were plain especially those that came with machinery, machine tools, etc.
