The only ranger 250 I am familiar with is a Ford 3/4 ton truck, I would love to get $2500 out of mine, although I am sure that is not what you are talking about here. Could you elaborate?

A Lincoln Ranger 250 is a good machine. I have seen them as high as $3300.00 new. An older couple had one for $2000.00 that they bought during the Y2K scare, I looked at it and told a friend I was thinking about it and he scooped it on me. I made him feel bad enough to loan it to me when I need it.
