I'm trying to build a 3 pt hitch for my super c which has a 2 pt fast hitch. I want to use this along with the 2 pt hitch. I have made arms 30" long to insert into the 2 pt hitch but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to connect the top link to the tractor. I don't want to do anything that will cause damage to my tractor. I'm sure someone has gone down this road before. Help!!! You can respond in this forum or to [email protected]. Thanks

I have a 350 Utility with a 2 point Fast Hitch.
It came with two adapter arms each having the standard swivel ball on the end to accept the 3 point type impliment pins. These adapter arms may be available to fit your C. I think the top link bracket is an option with the 3 pt arms and is fastened to the 350 above the rear end. I just got a 240 Utility with a 3 point Fast Hitch, but instead of the swivel ball ends, it's similar to the Case Eagle Hitch with top latches that lock impliment pins to the arms. Several inches back from the arm ends is an inverted U of heavy round tubing, one end welded to each arm.
At the top of the inverted U are ears to hold a top link of about ten inches long. While the 350 Utility adapter arms can be removed by lifting the latches, the 240 arms are bolted in a sleeve.
I recently saw a 240 U on which someone had cut off the arms in back of the latches and welded on a flat drawbar from an older Farmall. It can no longer use 3 point impliments although it can raise and lower. I hope this will give you some ideas.

Go to the website "worksaver.com", they build just what you're looking to build, and have some pretty good line drawings which will help you. I have their unit on my Farmall 200, and it works out pretty well. You may need to hunt for a shorter than the usual top link, however.
